Studio Zmei is an independent animation studio based in Sofia, Bulgaria, created 9 years ago. We specialize in animation, development and production of 2D animated series, producing more than 300 minutes of high-quality animation per year. We have developed original projects like ‘Vee and the Golden Apple’, which is currently a French-Bulgarian co-production between Studio Zmei and Dandelooo.
Our co-productions include ‘Once Upon a Time…The Objects!’ with Samka Animation and ‘The Crunchers’ with Je Suis Bien Content. As a service studio, we have worked on shows like Genndy Tartakovsky’s ‘Unicorn: Warriors Eternal’ with Studio La Cachette.
We are currently looking for co-productions, new service work, partners and cool new collaborations! All of our projects have internal production organization for smooth communication and management, as well as internal artistic supervision.
As a service we offer:

● Layout and background design;
